So, I have been AWOL for the last two weeks from this blog. It can simply be chalked up to life, however during my absence I have been able to get some research done and a few new beers drank. The first of the beers I will mention is one that I was honestly surprised by, Shock Top a Belgian given the name I was expecting a pop-style kraft beer. However, it did have a descent taste, nice snowy head and an aroma of wheat malt, orange peel and a tiny bit of coriander. While I wouldn’t be bragging about this beer, it has become normal priced beer that holds more flavor than the average Anheuser-Busch beers. I think that if you are a fan of Blue Moon you would like this beer, it is a decent fruity wheat beer that in most places is on the inexpensive side. I would say give it a try if nothing else.
