This week I picked up a six pack of one of my favorite beers to keep around the beer frig, Harp Lager. This is another of the Irish import Lagers brewed by those great folks at the Guinness. I really love the smooth barley flavor that you get while drinking Harp and the nice foam head helps to keep the beer very cold and smooth. The aroma of wheat will hit your pallet as you are drinking, which helps to enhance the barley flavors in the delicious lager. This is my favorite beer to either have after cutting grass on a hot summer day or to sit around a bon-fire with friends just passing the time with stories and laughter. I would recommend that everyone should give this beer a try, even if you are not a fan of the Great Northern style of lagers; Harp is at least in this reviewers mind one of the best commercial examples of the style of beer.
