Monday Beer Review Of The Week: Blue Moon

This one is coming a couple of days late due to a sick kidlet. I am sitting here on the deck grilling up a chicken and sipping on one of my favorite summer time adult beverages. Blue Moon has reputation for a nice smooth white beer, but the subtle coriander can be missed by many. This slight flavor adds to the predominate wheat flavor and gives Blue Moon an excellent flavor profile. This beer pours very smoothly into an ice cold glass, giving off a sweet aroma of wheat, hinting at what its flavor will be like when consumed. I love to have this beer with anything from buffalo wings to a nice smoked cheddar cheese. It is one of those beers that should beer kept in the beer fridge to share with friends or just drink after work.
