La Roja is an edgy concoction from Artisan Ale out of Dexter Michigan. La Roja is an interesting ale, brewed in the Flanders tradition. It has very rich amber color that gives the beer an interesting carmel flavor, however the spiced flavor of the beer is a bit over-powering. This is definitely a beer worth trying out, it is an acquired taste. However, if you do acquire the taste for this beer it is an excellent beer.
